had a teacher who said her husband got some parasite while they were camping. he peed out straight blood for 2 days till he got to the hospital. lots of nasty stuff out there.

My highschool teacher had a PhD in parasitology and had some good stories.
She said one woman was taking a warm bath when a live worm swam out of her. Another time a patient was diagnosed with a tumor but it turned out to be a huge tapeworm. Tapeworms can reach a length of 30 feet. Worst of all larvae can pass the intestinal lining and lodge in some other organs where they start to grow (even the nervous system)...these can be lethal. On a lighter note, she knew about this researcher who had to infect himself becasue he always required a particular species of worm for his studies. Occasionally, after some heavy drinking he had to reinfect himself. She told us not to eat sushi regularly.

There was a woman who took a trip to South America, and when she got home she noticed a strange rash on her breast. Over time it worsened, and got more and more painful...a doctor gave her some cream and bandaged it up for a couple weeks. When the bandage came off, she saw this...

I officially can never look at breast again. Do you have a link to a more detail of this story.
I think for some reason I also passed out for a second when I saw this. I've seen a lot of disgusting things ranging from Dismembered animals to people die right in front of me and for some reason this is one of the worst things I have ever seen.
