yeah, TAGs are often trying to either blocking bet or b/3b here. You want to meet both of those with a raise and there is little or nothing to be gained by slowplaying. Sorry you flopped a set and villain folded - it happens all the time.

hmm I think you made correct play but I wouldn't push all my chips in, unless he has two pair or maybe AA he would make a call but it's all depend on situation. If guy you played was very loose and aggresive than I can say good play!

totally depends on which tag and his calling/2 barreling frequencies in 3 bet pots :/. Also depends on who you are. I think I call though a lot cuz I call a lot anyway on the flop [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

i acutally like a call here, to let him bluff at another street, if villain had something like AQh he is almost definately calling but i d put him on a lower pp like tens here, and in that case he will probly not put another bet in on the turn anyway so there is no real problem in raising, i just think this spot kinda sucks because AA or JJ is really the only two hands that call you down instantly and AQh thinks about it before he calls
