Re: $55 AA with paired flop
[ QUOTE ]
Of late, when you have a big hand they probably don't have much then. Don't overestimate the players in the 55s. If they have 77+ or AT+ or even A7s+ they'll be calling your push. You have 8 BBs, you are going to be pushing all the hands that you are playing in this situation. So, if they were actually paying attention they will not believe that a push implies a huge hand. Don't overthink and make these things complicated. Keep it simple. [/ QUOTE ] So, should I not overestimate them or expect them to be paying attention? |

Re: $55 AA with paired flop
hey, i used the subjunctive mood (IF they were). just to show that in either case you should still push.

Re: $55 AA with paired flop RESULTS
The correct play, then, is to river your own damn quads. GAWD

Re: $55 AA with paired flop RESULTS
yeah probably nothing you can do. i'd say half of the 55ers will call a PF push with 66 anyway.

Re: $55 AA with paired flop
I think this is really terrible. Talking about the likelihood of him having a 6 on the flop totally misses the point. The point is that it just can't be right to take a line with AA which ever lets you fold when you have 8 big blinds to start the hand.

Re: $55 AA with paired flop
I don't hate the minraise, but really depends on the table on your image. However you cannot fold the flop, you will be ahead too much, and you are too short if you fold.

Re: $55 AA with paired flop RESULTS
Uhh let me get this straight... you invest half your chips in this pot... and you fold for the other half with AA when the board is 866?

Re: $55 AA with paired flop RESULTS
Oh my bad, but I don't get why you are wondering what the right play is... isn't it obvious? Or am I missing something here again?
