Calling on the button with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in a 6-handed 100/200 NL game is a bad call FOR YOU. You're not good enough to play here profitably. That's the bottom line really.

Good thing they were clubs

You're right, that changes everything, calling w/ T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] is obv okay.

I think the key question here is why is he C/Ring the turn. It looks to me like he wants to get a lot of chips in now because he's got a hand he wants to protect against someone hitting a 4th club on the river. As such, I'd completely rule out the nut flush, and would find any high flush pretty unlikely as well. It looks like either two pair, a set, a straight, or a low flush. Considering that we're ahead of almost all of that, it's a definite push.

Next time though, if you're uncomfortable at these stakes, just refuse when people try to bump up the limits on the game. It's not worth it to play limits you're not comfortable at that will lead to you making -EV decisions just to appease the other people at the table.

I am against the Tc6c call, because this game is shorthanded and there is no guarantee that you will get paid off if you hit big. It's not like just because he raised UTG he has a hand that you will be able to stack him with if you flop strong. You will be able to make more plays in position, but more often you will just have to fold the flop after he leads.

OP, your arguement for calling was if you hit you win big, and you folded? Excellent play.

Calling here is fine, You guys need to play live more.

Good points, but I'm going to chime in that people are retarded if they don't realize that you're supposed to pop it to 4K on the flop with this hand. Fold pre-flop unless you have good control over UTG, which you obv don't.

cero,

I don't understand your insistance on raising the flop. Seems to me like sometimes you should raise the flop, sometimes you should wait for the turn. This seems like a classic spot to mix it up with all types of hands (in position, raised pot, scary board) and waiting for the turn where your equity will shoot up on a blank seems completely fine. Why the hate for his line (except for the fold, obv)?
