On Feb. 11, 2007: Iran will announce major technological and medical breakthroughs, and establish its "inalienable" nuclear rights. Iran also claims it has developed the cure for AIDS.

Two points. A) You arent going far at all in this forum with trolling such as this, and B) A lot could go wrong in the next couple years that very well could lead to a global war.

Yes. Different year, different problems. Just as 1925 was not nearly the harbinger for global conflict as, say, 1938. If you dont think we are at the precipice, thats fine. I have doubts that whats going on now will ammount to anything significant as well. However, to assume that what's going on right now isnt more dangerous for world stability than some arbitrary year in the last 100, is to neglect probability. Same reason why the nuclear "clock" has been set closer to midnight; not because it will happen, but because the probability is greater than before.
