Really? I thought she was semi well known, at least since she had some title music (I think) for I believe it was Dawson's Creek.
Don't let that fool you though, she's quite amazing.

Check out her cover of that Nick Drake song..think it's called "Ship song".
Obv a lot of great songs by her that aren't covers as well, like "London rain".

Aimee Mann, can't say I've listend a lot to her, she pops up occasionally on my Pandora, but not often enough for me to have an opinion.
