Mywebatm and ePassporte Company Info
Can we discuss the legitimacy of the two companies? Starting with mywebatm? Where is it based out of? Isn't one of these companies American? How can this work?

Re: Mywebatm and ePassporte Company Info
Not sure about mywebatm but ePassporte has a rep here, his handle is MichaelO (where are you Michael?).
I sort of asked him about the legitimacy of ePassporte in this thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...rt=all&vc=1 |

Re: Mywebatm and ePassporte Company Info
Looks like Web is out of the Van Nuys, CA area:
This Agreement shall be governed by applicable federal law, and the rules and regulations. To the extent federal law is not applicable, the laws of the State of California shall govern this Agreement. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this Agreement and any applicable law or regulation, this Agreement shall be deemed modified to the extent necessary to comply with such law or regulation. We may waive any of the provisions or conditions of this Agreement, but any such waiver shall be effective only on that occasion and shall not be construed as a continuing waiver of the waived term on any other occasion. Section 14: CONSENT TO JURISDICTION You consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Van Nuys, California in all controversies arising out of or in connection with your use of the Card and this Agreement. |

Well then how then the hell does that work? How don't they get busted immediately by the DoJ?

Re: Mywebatm and ePassporte Company Info
Poker is still a gray area - DOJ has only gone after sites associated with sports betting. If MywebATM is only doing poker, and not sites that have sportsbooks, they aren't going to get busted by DOJ unless/until DOJ expands the scope of their investigations. Sports betting is the low hanging fruit. Poker will be more difficult for them to prosecute since it is not covered by the Wire Act.

Can we discuss the legitimacy of the two companies? [/ QUOTE ] Lets first discuss Neteller. Transparent, regulated, licensed, thousands of members here can vouch for years of trustworthy, reliable service. How'd that work out? |

When I applied for my Epassporte business account, they initially denied me because I casually mentioned sportsbetting on my site. So, take that for what it's worth. |

[/ QUOTE ] For non-US, absolutely fine. I'm sure US customers will get their money. If there is further pressure on these new operations I would not be nearly as sure of them. See if you can get your legislators to stop dicking around with you. Then maybe stop them screwing non-US businesses? |

The venue provision of the customer agreement doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the location of the headquarters of the company.
