5/10 live Awkward Turn with AQs
5/10 Live
Hero $1500 Villain1 $3000 - just sat down 1 orbit ago, no reads yet, except he brought about $100 worth of chips and $3000 worth of Bills to the table - from my experience these type of players will more often than not play a TAGGish style. CS $650 - Second villain is pretty bad, will rarely show aggression post flop Villain1 is UTG and brings it in with $40. Hero is in MP and calls with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , CS calls from the button. Rest fold. Pot $135. Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain1 leads for $130. Hero calls. CS calls. Pot $520. Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain1 checks. Hero???. I was really unsure what to do cause Villain1 seems weak, but there's a good chance the turn might've hit CS, and he's only got about a PSB left. If I'm behind I'm screwed. Bet it anyway? |

Re: 5/10 live Awkward Turn with AQs
Check and see what CS does. If he pushes, fold. If he checks through, call Villains river bet.
It looks like Villain1 has a made hand, probably with no [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. If CS pushes, he most likely has your beat with a flush or maybe even a straight depending on how bad he is, assuming your read is correct. |
