David Williams Hate?

- He's been very smart about dedicating himself to more exploitable games than Hold'em and would probably do very well against a field of non-Bobby's Room pros in them.

- Dave was beyond broke before his 2004 breakthrough. I think the fact he bought the rights to the video indicates some real shame on his involvement.

Cheating at Magic is a pretty common problem. At last years World Championships there were 6 players disqualified.
But it's no surprise in a serious tournament with $50k for 1st and 400k total prize pool that some people want to gain some (unfair) advantage.

I'm a Dave Williams fan. Why? Cause I was playing in a WSOP Limit Event in 2005 and Dave walked up to me and asked me how I'm doing, how things have been, etc after not seeing me for several years.
We were never close but we had played each other and talked at Misc Magic Grand Prixs and still had that common bond.
I give him credit for staying somewhat grounded.

I dont understand how some people can say things like "I can understand that he cheated" or "many people cheat, so whatever".
That`s part of the reason that Poker still has its shady image.
I refuse to play anyone with a history of cheating (except in tourneys when there`s no other way), cause it`s just pathetic and tells you a lot about someone`s character.
