Default TPGK is no good here right?

This hand took place in a 4.4/180 and the villain has displayed some fishy overaggressive tendancies. For instance one hand I remember he 3 bet the flop with KT on a T high board after I and another player had made decent bets.

Still, I think I am a street late here don't you think? Who's folding the turn?

I'm posting this mainly because its hands like these that are historically the end of me in most tournaments (I come from a limit - "just call him down" - background)

Based on your read of the villain, I think I just 3-bet the flop AI. He could have JT, JQ, middle pair, some pocket pair that missed, or whatever. The turn card doesn't scare me at all. And as played I think a river call is in order.

Agreed you are pot commited at this stage you have to make him show you AJ or a set.

If you think he's at all fishy, you gotta call that. He only limped in. He would have raised with JJ, 88, QQ, KK, AA, or AJ, which leaves the only hands that beat you that are remotely realistic are 67, 55, 44, or 22. He wouldn't have two pair. I think at this point with that many chips in, you gotta make that call, and hope that he simply interpreted your checks as weakness (which is entirely possible). Call him. After all, it is a $4.40. Damn good chance he's a newbie or just a fish.

Easy call at river but think it could have been played better at the flop.

I'd have pushed AI after his raise. If not happy with this you need to fold rather than keep calling him really.

Either fold or raise AI on flop. Given your description of villain and that this is a $4 tourney, I would move AI on flop.

The flop call is bad.

As played, call the river.

Wow. Unanimous. That doesn't happen very often. I guess I figured he might have had me beat on the turn but wanted to see on the turn but wanted to call to see if he'd bet the river hard, which he did and I was convinced.

It's interesting that the one thing I feel I need to work on (making folds when its obvious I'm beat) was the last thing I needed here. Normally I make bad calls in a heartbeat but I can accept that here I overthought things

So the solution is to get all the money in on the flop. Noted, thanks for your help.
