we caught a cheat...

so we have a home game that gets together every weekend, and we caught one of the regulars cheating. basically she was setting the deck so people would flop top 2 against her set or other things like that. One of my friends picked it up and snatched the deck and dealt the hand, and sure enough it was a ridiculous cooler for her.


What should be done in this situation. I mean shes banned from the game but wtf. She actually said "its not my fault you guys cant lay down second best hands." Anyone ever has anything similar to this where they play?? Any ways to quickly spot cheats where your playing, when its not in a casino?

This the appropriate thing to do. It's a very low feeling at the table when this is found out. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] You could let her play in future games however, I would not let her deal another hand.

How long was she a regular? How long did it take for you to catch her?

Spread the word among everyone you know and especially any poker games that you know- she's obviously not going to change. Make sure the verbal scarlet C is attached to her name.

That's the only revenge you can take long term.

I figure there are two ways to do this:
1. Watch people shuffle/remeber what comes when they deal or
2. Learn how to cheat.

ohh well usually we use two decks and the dealer always shuffles their deck. I have never heard of some one else shuffling the cards for a dealer.
