Mason-
I'm sure people have asked you this before, but I can't find anything in the archives about it. Is 2+2 ever going to publish THE book on Omaha? Seeing as how Omaha is easily the most popular non-Hold Em' game both online and in cardrooms as of right now, I would figure 2+2 would make a mint publishing "THE book" on it. Is there no one in the stable of 2+2 authors that is versed enough in Omaha to write the book? Do you believe there is too little interest? What's going on? |

While i agree a book on omaha would be nice/not sure if enough people would read it for it to be worthwhile.

For Omaha 8 you can't beat Ray Zee's High-low split poker. And you get Stud HL as a bonus. This is one of the best 2+2 books (and a great value) yet is usually overlooked.
For Pot limit Omaha I like Rolf Slotboom's book. I agree that there isn't enough demand for a new Omaha book. |

Hi Rotting:
For what's it worth, for us to do an Omaha book, and we do already have an Omaha eight-or-better book, we would need to have a manuscript submitted to us. That's the first problem. Second, I'm not sure there is much of a market. And third, we already have committments to a (for us) large number of books. So while there is always a small possibility we may end up producing something, it's not likely to appear in the near future if it appears at all. Best wishes, Mason |

Secrets of Professional Pot Limit Omaha is an excellent book. Also an Omaha book to start out with that is packed with good advice is Bob Ciaffone's book called Omaha Poker the brand new 2006 edition.
