Airport Question for MAC users

I just picked up an airport card for my G5 last night. The installation was fine and everything seems to be working smoothly, but the card is not picking up on the my wireless network.

I can connect to my other computer just fine, but I can't figure out why the card isn't seeing any of the wireless interenet networks. When I first booted up, it saw a third party wireless network for a split second, but I haven't seen it since. The laptop is finding all of the connections perfectly fine.

I thought about it being interference, but I don't think it would be finding the other computer if that were the problem.

Has anyone had this problem or have any tips? I've gone through the manuals on apple.com, but nothing seems to work. I'll be calling Apple tech support tomorrow, but if anyone has suggestions, I would appreciate them.
