Default 27s: Tough spot with top set.

Let me preface this with, this is not a bad beat post....
Here are some of my thoughts. I strongly considered push-reraising on the flop, but decided to wait until the turn, and re-evaluate. When the bad turn card hit, re-evaluate is what I did, and I strongly considered folding as an option. But something was a little fishy, so I pushed.
Thoughts????

You really have to reraise the flop. If he has something like 77-99 there are plenty of cards that can kill the action.
Think about it that way:
Which holding does Villain have to raise and NOT to go all the way with it?
And then think, which cards could hurt his decision to "reevaluate" on the turn.
Ok, now you can see, that he may not like any club, any facecard, any card that might complete a straight...
Ok, you do the math, but its way more than half of the deck.
So half of the deck COULD kill action or kill you

You don`t like any club any straight-completing card...

So in conclusion, you do HIM and YOURSELF most of the time a favor in getting it in. You also give him the opportunity to do a mistake (like calling with the NFD etc.).
So pushing/reraising the flop is mandatory. Calling on this board is horrible.

Reraise all-in on the flop. Even if he already has the nut flush you have ALOT of outs which makes you only a 65 - 35 dog. Not to mention the FE you have if he doesn't have already have a big flush.

Not to mention that any A,3,4,7,8,9 or club makes your job alot harder on the turn. Get it in now!

Just MHO.

And small flushes are NEVER folding.
I might fold a baby flush in cash after a 4 bet on a non-paired flop, when deepstacked. But thats pretty the only time you will see me folding a baby flush.

Just MHO.

Ehm....you want FE? Ehm...i am more happy if he calls. So i am not to happy if he`s folding. So i hope my push is not increasing the FE to much...

And why exactly would you want a call if he already has a flush which makes you almost a 2-1 dog? Sorry but I think saying you want a call on this board is just bull****.
And YES some people will lay down a baby flush but I was actually referring to the flush draws (didn't make it clear, sorry).
