This MozillaZine knowledge base page should help you figure things out.

I'm about 99% sure I've got the answer. I've had the embedded video problems on almost every computer I've installed Firefox on. And being a Firefox fanatic, I don't understand why they can't solve this simple problem? Anyway, here is (most likely) the simple solution. (the info can also be found in this thread Link )

Go to this site http://www.dlldump.com/ and copy/paste these file names in one at a time. Or you can just Google each of the file names one at a time to find links to download them somewhere that you can find them, like your desktop.

npdsplay.dll
npwmsdrm.dll
npdrmv2.dll

Now that you've got these files downloaded, go to My Computer > C: drive > Program Files > Mozilla Firefox > Plugins folder. With the Plugins folder open drag and drop or copy and paste those three .dll files you just downloaded into that folder. If for some reason those files already exist, just hit cancel and you don't have to overwrite them. If those files didn't already exist, this will likely fix your problem. (at least it always has for me.)

Restart Firefox and your embedded video should now work. If not.....you might have to delve deeper into the link that Ispiked posted. Hopefully this will work. Post back and let us know.

Good luck.

Awesome! Glad it worked for you man. Ya might bookmark this thread or the one in the link I provided. You'll need it if you have to reload Firefox for some reason. Sort of a crazy fix but it works!
