A Poll re: Chip counts on Televised Poker

I don't know about you, but I wish that the players' chip counts were always displayed on screen throughout televised poker shows. They only show them after breaks and it's very quick. I understand that since they don't show every hand, the chip counts may not make much sense for continuity, but still. What do you think?

Hammy-When I pause on my Tivo (which I have been a lifetime subscriber to since 1999, young 'un - pretty sure that was the year but my memory ain't so good since the eruption of Mt St Helens) the bar covers up the bottom chip counts, but I am suggesting more of an avatar-like feature for those of us who are used to seeing chip counts under poker players names all day long ya know what I mean?
