of corse he did... thats why this hand was posted...

Pre flop I would call and try to flop a set on him. I dont really like reraising with JJ since it is not that strong of a hand against a 11/5 palyer, not only that you are OOP. The call on the flop means you are beat, as played fold the turn. If the guy is that tight and raising 5% pre only then he will more often then not have a high pair with his raise.

Next time, call to flop a set and take his money.

I don't usually reraise PF here, but if I do then this is the line I take. looks good.

depends on the players and the actions postflop... if they are tight they will most likly have high cards. Just becasue its an over pair doesnt mean it is that good. It is good for winning small pots but thats it... it is still in the end just one pair.

Whether I 3bet JJ OOP depends on the villian. I am not 3 betting this guy w/out KK or AA.

As played your line is good although I might put more $ in in the flop and then shut down from there if called - spend an extra $10 there to save $ on later streets.

I think the 3bet is really standard preflop... flop is standard... turn is a must check fold. There is simply nothing u can put him on that you are beating. People dont float much at all in 3bet pots in fullring especially at these stakes.

If some of you guys are just calling in this spot it is a leak. If you are ever going to move up in stakes you are going to have to get comfortable 3beting hands like 9T suited in spots like these. Preflop is v v v standard for solid winning players in mid to high stakes.
