I like this one a lot but the max is only $100.

Dixie chicks to win more Grammys this year than Peyton Manning has rushing attempts in the Super Bowl. (-125 @ Bodog)

Peyton averages 1.5 attempts per game and the chicks o/u is set at 3.5 at Pinnacle. Seems to be some good value.

There's a LOT of value in that. If chicks hit 4, it's a near lock. If chicks hit 3, it's merely a very good value. If chicks bomb out & hit 2, it STILL may have value.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea, that's why I love this bet. I'd put a lot more than a hundred on it if I could.

I took the Dixie Chicks total grammy wins. -125
It looks like fun action...

But the more I research the more I think this is
a good line with not much value.

Here are my thoughts... Please comment

Bodog has the over/under on Paytons rushing at:
1.5 Over -160
1.5 under +120

The Dixie Chicks Total Grammy Wins -125
Peyton Manning Total Rushing Attempts -115

So it looks like Bodog thinks the Dixie Chicks will win close to 2 Grammy's (based on these two lines)

My question is what Grammy's count?
Does Song of the year count?

The odds I have gotten (on-line):
Albumn of the year (Taking the Long Way): 7/3 30%
Record of the year (Not Ready to Make Nice) 4/1 20%
Song of the Year (Not Ready to Make Nice) 20% (Just a guess)
Best Country Album (Taking the Long Way): 11/9 45%
Best County Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal
(Not Ready to Make Nice): 60% (Just a guess)

So the books think that the Dixie Chicks will win about:
1.75 Grammy's (Yes crude numbers)

They moved the line to -140 for the chicks and the max up to $300.

Betcris has the o/u for grammys for the Dixie Chicks at 3.5. That's the only line I could find for it and was my main reason for taking this bet.

Kneeldowns count as rushing attempts. So one 'run' and 3 kneeldowns at end of game is 4 attempts.

It doesn't really change anything. He still averages 1.8 rushing attempts per game. How they are calculated is irrelevant unless you want to factor in that you think it's more likely than normal that he kneels in this game.

So you haven't considered if kneeldowns are more likely in the postseason? E.g. in the regular season, teams with big leads often literally 'run out the clock' by running up the middle, or bringing in the 2nd stringer and giving him some carries in a 31-20 game with 1 minute left.

In the playoffs/SB, QB kneels it out, they don't eff around. To pretend Indy [assuming a 7+ lead, OR no Chi timeouts] will not kneel it out is foolish.
