Requirements/How much$$ for weekend Borgata Poker Room Rate

Just curious what is borgatas playin requirements to get a Poker rated room on fri/sat. Also, how much is the poker rate on weekend at this time?

It generally requires established, regular high limit play.

weekend rate is $125 and you need to be a 40/80 regular or play a ridiculous amount of 20/40.

I asked one of the floormen once. He told me that they review requests on a case by case basis and it is all determined by your play.

He couldn't tell me what levels to play to qualify or how many hours I had to rack up.

Just another reason why I continue to play on the boardwalk and book rooms through Marsha at the Taj. She is the best.

What level of play do you need for a poker rate at the Taj? I have also heard they have very high requirements, so I have never tried.

On weekends, you generally need high limit play at Taj; it is next to impossible to get for someone who doesn't regularly play in the big games there (not sure what it is there now, but it used to be 75-150 and higher requirement; maybe 40-80 now?). During the week, virtually anyone can get a room, particularly off season. Simply show up, play during a weekday afternoon and see Marcia in the back. She'll hook you up.
