Default Re: Which of these Sci-Fi authors are worth reading?

Stasheff and Aspirin are fairly light hearted and simple reads.

Modesitt has written a whole series of books that are out of sequence and sometimes hard to read if you haven't read them in the right order. But, pretty decent reading, if a bit moralistic.

Feist is definitely worth reading, almost everything he's written.

Depending on the series, Anne McCaffrey is pretty good reading too.

Melanie Rawn is one of my favorites, and you should make whichever book(s) your priority out of this list.

I don't particularly care for any of the other three authors, though I haven't read much from any of them.
