I agree with Jeff and benwood. This is a big enough pot and you can use the LAG to drive out a lot of hands. This is a primary benefit of sitting to the right of this type. Plus, if you've just sat down and are not well known this is going to buy you a lot of downstream action.

As you played it, I have no preference between a bet and a check raise but would give you credit for your read in the moment and go with instinct.

The SB makes his flush on the river and is in for less than a bet. Do I have a completion here since I think I have the button beat?
