I think that you played the hand fine. I was well aware that "you didn't want to get involved with me" but my spidey sense told me that I had the best hand so I went into call down mode. Normally in this spot I would check fold the turn or simply checkraise the flop and go from there. I decided to play the hand a bit differently here for different reasons. My call down was based more on metagame considerations and my bet on the river was "automatic" as I believed at this point you were capable of folding a better ace if you did not have a flush which I think you would have done had you not made a set. I was not upset at the outcome or the way you played the hand but maybe more upset at how I played a hand that I clearly could have won had I played it better.I was just simply suprised that you played the hand the way that you did and maybe a bit upset about running bad in general during that part of the session. I got up to have a smoke and think about the hand, not in disgust at your play though. I look forward to more battles in the 20 game.
