Default Play the @#$%ing board?

Hand 1

50NL 6 max

everybody around 50 stacks.

folded to me in MP w/ 22. I raised to 2. Button(unknown) and Sb(loose passive calling station) call.

flop comes 777. SB check, I bet 5. Button fold and SB calls.

turn comes 7. SB check, wtf do I do here?

Hand 2:

50NL

everyone has around 50 stacks.

I raised to 2 utg w/ AKo. everybody folded to BB(kind of tag/don't get too out of line) raised to 8. I call.

flop comes AKJ, 2 spades. BB checks. What should I do?

Hand 1:
You have the worst hand possible against a lp calling station. What could you possibly do here except check and hope for a split on the river?

Hand 2:
Bet pot. Call a push.

And give a free card to AQ, TT, or QQ? Please explain why you do not like a bet. Thanks.

Check is what I thought for Hand 2. He's not going to get too out of line reraising my utg raise even though I sort of play lag/tag so I'm thinking his range is AA-JJ, AK. So I'm not worried about giving him free cards if I'm ahead because at most he has 6 outs. It's kind of a WA/WB situation.

The question is how much are we going to call down when he bets turn or river?

Um...we have position so c/f is not an option. I said to check and hope for a split on the river when a high card hits.

Ok, to continue on Hand 1.

I check, didn't think I could move him off with my imaginary ace, I dont' think he thinks at all .

The river is a K. He then bets out around 4/5 of the pot.
???

muck quickly. You are calling to split and are most likely not going to get a loose passive calling station to fold the board of the second nuts, even if he doesnt cram b/c he has an A.
