Unbelievable that the bet is so small and MP3 just calls. If MP3 has AA or KK, what are they doing allowing a draw? What's UTG doing? Very strange. I might just call here to see another card so cheaply, but a raise might win the pot right here. Of course, one of them might go all-in over top of you--are you prepared for that?

I actually think I let a card come off and hope it's a heart and one of those guys has a FD and he stacks off.

UTG may have AA/KK and is pretty sure you will raise to drive MP3 out. That's the only explanation that makes sense.

P.S. And now I'm commenting on hands I have posted as if they were posted by someone else. On top of that taking a completely different line than I took in the hand! I guess I've been multitasking too much...

no way you raise here.
they have offered you good odds on a draw in position while building the pot up. if you raise all youll do is give the oop players an advantage.

Yeah, I think I should have taken the cheap card. Grossly misplayed this one; I raised way too much (pot committed myself); results in white: MP3 pushed; I called; he had 88. MHING.

OK, maybe if I had TP or 2nd pair + the NFD I would raise. But...

What kind of fold equity do you have? 99-AA I repop right here, and without proof my gut tells me I pick up a decent number of pots. If you have reads that tell you such with these players I don't mind reping the overpair. Its not a bad semi-bluff spot.

But me, I'm weak-tight, so I just take the odds and draw here.

Yeah, when I repopped I represented an overpair; I was thinking even 99/TT/JJ should fold to that bet. And I was putting MP3 on a drawing hand that just wouldn't have the odds; so I get the pot and everything is fine and dandy. Not this time.

I don't think raising is a big mistake, but I definately should have raised less than I did so I can find a fold when MP3 repops.

And I might be semi-bluffing too much But I love when I hit them and get sick action bc the other guy dont believe I hit...
