Default $100 JJ in a tight spot

I have very few hands with this opponent and no notes. I'm assuming he's a typical level I player.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($94.30)
Hero ($86.60)
BB ($145.05)
UTG ($86.80)
UTG+1 ($153.45)
MP1 ($55.90)
MP2 ($128.30)
CO ($106.95)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
5 folds, Button raises to $3, Hero raises to $10, 1 fold, Button calls $7.

Flop: ($21) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $10, Button raises to $84.3, Hero...

You have to select TwoPlusTwo forums on the drop down selection option thingamabob.

Reads on villain would be nice, but I probably make a call here and expect to see AA-KK, 88-TT, 2 big cards for a flush draw, and a random A5 thrown in.

I would let my JJ go.

Don't you think you are ahead of villian's range here?

[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]88,99,and TT are all real possibilities to me.
[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]AA and KK would have likely re-raised preflop.

bet closer to the pot on the flop, like 18. Fold to the raise. He has you beat like always.

QQ, KK, and AA are possibilities, too. I've seen many people call a re-raise with AA or KK, but I play lower levels. Maybe this isn't as common at higher levels?

Why did you make such a small flop bet? Maybe you are right and villain thinks you are weak or on a flush draw? I hope so. There is a lot in villains range, but you don't know him very well. I'd fold.

With this massive overbet you're making a huge error by calling. The fact that he didn't re-raise preflop don't mean anything. I'm guessing he has KK here, either way you're well behind his range. The typical villain doesn't do this with a flushdraw or a mid-PP, fold and fold quick.

Off subject:

Battletoad, I finally realize why every time I sit at your table I am always in the blinds with you.

At first I thought I was just unfortunate. But then I got to thinking about why that seat is always available. Nobody wants to sit there! You are one ruthless dude in those BvsB battles!
