I don't play this high... ever. But, I took a shot.

This hand still boggles my mind. I was playing fairly tight, so I just don't understand. Should I be looking for more spots to calldown with King High?

Looks like he has 56 (poss even 25) and a lower spade draw well within your range. Not a bad call at all.

he called down with king high because the way you played the hand it looks like you didnt have anything which you didnt

Exactly. The turn check-raise given this board texture is [censored] a very high percentage of the time. He made a bad turn bet but his calldown is fine.

So was the river a value bet or a bluff?

Sucks as either in my opinion.

For those who are saying that the turn action makes you look FOS, do you not take the exact same line when you DO have a piece?

Usually turn play like this is indicative of someone who doesn't have much, and feels they need to represent extra strength in order to get someone to fold. This is why he called the river. However, if you take the same line with a big hand on occassion you can use this to bluff too. I think it's a pretty standard riv call.

FWIW: I think this is a case of having to get to the river and /then/ having the pot odds to call. Without the Ks I think villain is folding the turn here but at this point he is getting 8-1 on the river and you have a busted draw or air more often than that.
