We have to get him online, if he could make some videos I'm sure they could be just as good if not better than Tony's.

But yes, it's true all of my family is from NY and most still live in NY.

My one uncle (my mom's sister's husband, so no real relation to the family) has a brother that owns a popular restaurant in NY and he has an elevator that apparently keeps breaking...so he decides to call up the company and bitch them out for it in a classic New Yorker recording.

You have to check this out it is hilarious, especially how the customer service rep stays cool.

wow, that guy sounds batshit insane, yet I am not at all surprised by this, as I am also from upstate NY.

this is almost standard for middle-aged men up here.

strange. whenever I click the link it brings me right to the page with the embedded sound clip.

you can try this one instead on ebaumsworld, but keep in mind someone recorded it from their speakers so the quality isn't quite as good as the original.

I laugh so hard at it because I forgot the unique sound that New Yorkers have to them where they all sound like they have been chain smokers for the last 30-40 years...well, most of them have.
