Default Online saving accounts

I tried googling but what was that bank that offer a pretty high interest rate for online saving account? Something loan?

Also, besides Citibank, HSBC, ING, Emigrant, Wamu, what other banks do you know that offer around 5% or more?

Have stated NUMEROUS times on this forum..........for safety, a quality bank, high interest, and ease of use...........try COUNTRYWIDE at their website or visit a LOCAL BRANCH in your area.

They offer 5.25% on balances of 10,000+ and 5.4 on 50,000 and above.

They also have a 5.4% 11-month CD with 20,000 minmimum.

Etrade is offering 5.05% on their savings. I currently have them as a stock brokerage, but have HSBC as one of my savings accounts.

virtually every post you make has this same tone i.e. an advertisement for countrywide. what is your deal? are you somehow employed by this bank? why do you ignore the fact that HSBC is more renowned and offers a substantially higher rate right now?
