QQ rivered a set on terrifying board
Villian is 65/15/2.2. Could I have played this better?
I hit a set with the river card, but the board is so scary I'm not terribly confident about my chances. I probably would have folded to a bigger river bet, but it was so small relative to the pot I figured it was worth a shot... Re: QQ rivered a set on terrifying board
I raise this up a little more Preflop. Your raise only brings it in for 5BB. I'd makes this like .50 here. At 2cent/5cent you get plenty of action preflop with your big hands so dont be afraid to play them more aggressively.
As played flop looks fine to me. Turn check for pot control is good. I like the call on the river here. I think that villain has AJ but cant be sure. Too many possible hands beat you here. His river donk is either a blocker or he's trying to get you to raise his straight/flush. |
