$400 NL Flush line that is a little different
Villian is a loose donkey say around 38/19. Bet river? Check raise river?

Re: $400 NL Flush line that is a little different
I like it a lot.. a lot of times he would maybe fold a 9 to a push/big bet but this gives him the option to get frisky with one on the river thinking hes going to bluff you (or he could legitimately have air) and if he has anything he's pretty much committed once you c/r. Well done, sir.

Looks fine to me, you get called by a ton of hands you crush here and you're behind very very seldom. Open pushing the river would be OK too, although this gives a naked 9 or 88 too easy a fold.

Re: $400 NL Flush line that is a little different
vnh. i have tried this line b4 and found it works best against aggressive players b/c they will bet the river. i find most solid players check behind 9X or 88 here, but wat makes this hand perfect is that you knew villain well enough to know he wud bet.

Re: $400 NL Flush line that is a little different
I use a line like this pretty regularly against this type of player, nh!
He really has to call with about any piece of it I think. |
