Watch for M'Dawg Haute, opening by the Amsterdam Falafel in Adams Morgan next week. It's a "gourmet" hot dog/sausage place with a fixins bar. Sounds awesome.

Just saw this thread. I was kinda disappointed at Ray's the steaks.... I've eaten at mortons, ruth chris, capital grille, charlie palmers, etc... all of these places had better steak than Ray's imo. I think capital grille has the best steak, but I like Mortons better, their Tuna Tartare appetizer is to die for. Their chocolate cake is also pretty incredible.


Also the mexican place turnip mentioned I have heard is phenomenal but I have yet to eat there.
