Default am i a complete moron to think there is some Fold equity here

6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $350.90
UTG+1: $544.87
CO: $178.50
Hero: $267.15
SB: $406
BB: $329.16

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises to $12</font>, Hero calls, SB folds, BB calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($41, 3 players)
BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">CO bets $40</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $255.15</font>, BB folds, <font color="#cc0000">CO calls all-in $126.5</font>.

some people can lay down overpairs to that board, some people can't

You don't really need too much FE against an overpair since you have like 45% equity. I think this is probably the only way to play this.

you have no fold equity. you have to base this on your equity vs. an overpair.

No fold equity? Na, there is always some who will fold, even if a very small number. 10%.... some will have AK etc as well.

I still don't think everyone gets it (or maybe it's just me; if so, say so).

We're essentially a coinflip against an overpair (which I think is clearly villain's most likely holding, and I think you all agree). There's $80 ALREADY IN THE POT, so we're sure as hell not folding in a million years.

If the turn's a card we like, it's hard to get paid; if the turn's a blank, we have to fold to a shove, so clearly calling is badbadbadbadbad.

The only option left is raising. It's not even really close. At all.
