AQ tptk to c/r 400NL
Villain is "nomed" on FTP. He has been very aggro lately.
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2/$4 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $698 Hero: $400 CO: $392 Button: $498.30 SB: $456.20 BB: $810.45 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero raises to $14, CO folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($46, 3 players) SB checks, Hero bets $36, Button calls, SB raises to $190, I think he has a nutflush draw here often. AA-QQ here very rarely if ever. Whats my play? |

Re: AQ tptk to c/r 400NL
no purpose in just calling because 1 you'll give the button odds to call if he's the one with the flush draw and two your stuck afterwards. I'd fold, your bet size represented something that clearly wasn't a float bet so he's not raising here with QK QJ, best case scenario he's doing it with a flush draw, but also you need to worry about the button with 22 66. Two many negative scenarios here with only 1 type of hand that your beating

Re: AQ tptk to c/r 400NL
I don't know much of anything about the button. With the button calling my bet, isn't there a slightly better chance that he's making some sort of squeeze play?

Re: AQ tptk to c/r 400NL
the ciaffone and ruebon play btw is to call and push any non spade turn.
"nullifying position" this is very rarely done online, but I actually like it better... in the heat of the moment I rarely do that, too. |
