Default New Orleans

I played there back in 2001 and there was a lot of good limit omaha action. Is there anything going on there now or did Katrina destroy the poker room?

What is the city like now?

worth a trip?

Jdoe

harrah's still has the 4-8 1/2 hold em ,

Do a search on posts by BigEasy. He knows when the 15/30 Omaha goes. I think it's Thursday, but I'm not sure. They have a list for it all the time, but it hasn't run very often on the weekends.

Limit action except for the 4/8 1/2 & 1/2 and 3/6 is pretty much over on the weekends. It's all 3/6 LHE, 1/2 NLHE, and a couple of tables of 2/5 NLHE and 1/2 & 1/2. There will usually be a 5/10 or 10/25 NLHE sometime, but it's not close to continuous in prime time hours.

Most tourist attractions are back up and running. A lot of the residential areas are still trashed.

It is worth a trip. A relatively moneyed tourist can pass a fun vacation in blissful oblivion of how horrid the the rest of the city is. In fact, that's what we are banking on.

The 15/30 omahi games usually goes on friday morning starting at 9:00 AM and sometimes saturday morning and is a very good game. The half and half game runs all the time. Also 5/10 and sometimes 10/25 nl sometimes goes during weekend nights

Is this a typo? Is it omaha high or 8/b? What limit is the round+round?

15/30 limit Omaha high.

Wild games there. 5+ people for many flops. New Orleans plays Omaha high only.
