Re: 200NL | TT, valuebet river?
depending on how the SB has been playing in the game, he might be a loose player, checks and calls, he doesn't raise, maybe he's slowplaying and raise you your river bet, or maybe he doesnt know the rules how to bet at all. I can't figure out with the information you are providing here. it'll depend from player to player who you're up against.
you're not holding the nuts, so you might as well be beaten. since you are last to act, if you want to bet, it should be less then if you were sure you had the best hand if he's not straightforward you might check, coz he might raise you and you wouldn't know if he's bluffing or not. as you see it al depends on the situation, wich type of player you're up against |

Re: 200NL | TT, valuebet river?
Vs and unknown I check behind. I don't want to get raised after putting out a river bet. Also, seeing showdown gives me an example of how he plays whatever hand he has now, he becomes less of an unknown player.

Default for FT 1/2 NL today: Check
Default for PP 1/2 NL a few months ago: Bet |

Re: 200NL | TT, valuebet river?
I think this is a thin valuebet. I don't actually think there is many hands you are losing to here (JJ perhaps). I dont have a problem betting 30 or so, however as said the information of what he shows down is useful so a check is also good (really there should be only 2 streets of value in this situation-ie you bet the turn with the part intention of getting a free showdown). If it turns out he has called down with 55 or whatever then Im sure youll be able to extract value in the future.
