Default Turn overbet in a raised pot....(1knl)

Pretty new to the table (about 20 hands in). Have a pretty tight image. No reads I guess.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

UTG ($1000)
MP ($617.95)
Button ($1092.25)
Hero ($1068)
BB ($349.45)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, Button raises to $30, Hero raises to $96, 1 fold, Button calls $66.

Flop: ($202) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $144, Button calls $144.

Turn: ($490) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $828 (All-In)

I made the mistake of not 3betting right amount. He said that he 3xBB in position and 4xBB OOP. O well.

I usually give up on this turn with these stack sizes. My coach said a push would be sexy. I was like wtf at the time but still did it. After looking at hand, I think its an interesting move I dont think I would ever do a move like this on my own. Thoughts?

I don't like it so much. Did your coach give any more explanation? Who is your coach btw?

with a tight image, its toeing the line of being alright.

but, looks a little too spewy to do on more than a very occasional basis. helps to be against a player who can fold KK or AQ here (there arent too many of those around these days, it turns out)

is it any wonder noones folding aq or kk here these days when so many like OP are refusing to give up on 3 bet pots at any stage during the hand!?

fwiw i think shove might work here but is definitely -EV

i think fold the turn. or at the very least, don't overbet the pot...right now, you're losing to a pair of 3's. this is difficult b/c the flop gave you the straight draw but i don't think push is the right answer here.

I'd much prefer this if you'd 3bet properly preflop and stacks were more accomodating. I feel you need to shove here a small % of the time though if you're playing vs decent players (but since you had no read, c/f).
