Comparison of number of players on each site?
I've begun a database tracking the number of players on major poker sites. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so if you know of a place online that already shows these numbers in one place, please advise. What I have started is a quick representation of number of players online on FTP, UB, and Pokerstars at two times each day (morning and evening). My goal is to chart, over the course of this year, the popularity of online poker as well as the popularity of each site.
If there is someone here that knows how to write the code to pull these numbers from each site automatically, that would be handy. Something akin to the sites that pull the data regarding running tourneys across each poker site. But, again, if this is already out there, I won't bother redoing the work. Also, is it imperative to include the number of tables, or is the "number of players online" sufficient? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Comparison of number of players on each site?
Thank you very much. The pokerscout info was very interesting. Particularly the percentage drop info they posted in response to the Neteller pullout. Thanks again. I suck at searching this site.
