Re: Best NLHE book....if you can only choose one.
How do you decide which reviews you are going to accept and which you'll overlook? Me? I need to know how much money the reviewer makes playing poker first before I decide whether or not that person is qualified to review anyones book. You'd be better off posting a poll and going for the majority rules results i think.

Re: Best NLHE book....if you can only choose one.
It looks like Daniel's new book is going to cover so much of the game, with Todd Brunson covering cash games and someone on touranments and Negreanu explaining small ball and other hot young pro contributing, all up to date for today's game against today's aggressive internet practiced amatuers...i'd hold off and get it.
Otherwise...NLT&P is probably too advanced, LGB probably too basic, HOH I sounds about right. |

I think that the there really is no one book, you can't choose just one. HoH books are great, and NLHE T&P is a fantastic book, I really got a lot out of it. I think you are best of getting all the HoH books and T&P. Reading more than one point of view will really help you think properly, or confuse the crap outta you, but it's the way to go.

Re: Best NLHE book....if you can only choose one.
I think that Harrington's books were really great. Super System was also opened up a whole different mindset to me when playing cash games because my starting hand selection really opened up as did my winnings. Cant wait for Daniels book to come out though.
