Is this considered slowrolling?
Action on the river. Play is down to the SB and the Button. Played checked to the button, who bets $30. SB pushes for $33. Button proceeds to take a minute and a half to call while he discusses with his mate the differences in hand rankings between Manilla and Hold'Em and flips up the flopped nuts.
Slowrolling or just someone who doesn't leave the house often? |

Re: Is this considered slowrolling?
I don't think its slow rolling. He was betting for what he believed he could squeeze out. Talking before calling or making a play does happen. In this months All In magazine JC Tran talks about the hype surrounding the "slow" online tell, where people take a long time to push or call, perhaps indicating weakness. He says that the slowness can come from many thing. The person might be watching TV, his internet might be lagging a bit, or even not so hard to imagine is the following - he has a family and a son/daughter or husband/wife is talking to them for a moment so he could not do his play instantly. I tend to agree with him that the over reliance on this "online tell" breaks many people.

How wude!
Yes, it's slowrolling and it's impolite to the victim and to the 9 other people who came to the table not expecting a ToastMaster's presentation forced on a captive audience. |

Yes, it's a slowroll. There's no real excuse to do this to someone live unless you're just an idiot. There's no reason to slowroll 'call' someone's all in HU. b |
