Default Poker in Chicago?

Going to Chicago for the week. Staying in Oak Brook. Any suggestions? My usual game is 2/5 or 5/10 NL.

i'm surprised this question doesn't get asked more often. if i had to guess, i'd think that there'd be a thread asking this same question on the first page of this forum.

If you take Lake Shore Drive (LSD), you will have to hack your way through surface streets for a couple miles. There isn't any roadwork on the Ryan, so that's your best bet. If you take LSD, you'll turn right at 51st which turns into Stony Island Ave. Just take that to the Skyway.

And on your way there don't ask for directions, so not the best neighborhooods. Once you get on the skyway its a straight shot with one off ramp. I'm heading over to majestic later tonight.

LOL seriously!

FYI Resorts also runs a shuttle for like 8 bucks from the Hilton on South Michigan Ave. I live in Lincoln Park but am carless and took the shuttle 2 summers ago while I was playing for a living.

The only NL game they spread is 5/10 and you gotta be careful as it's full of locals/regulars who know each other very well and may choose to pick on the tourists (you!).

More often? Run a search. This topic is oft repeated in this B&M forum.
