As played call. You have shown weakness throughout the hand. I do not like the queen plus his flop bet but, given the fact that you did not try to take control of the hand he could have a wide range.
Since you just sat down I would fold the A9 till I got a better feel of the table and even later I would give up the BB and pick a better spot. |

I tend to not get involved with this hand pre-flop unless I am going to re-raise it which is not unless SB is raising my blind a lot. As played I fold the river but it is quite close. I do not see any value in betting the turn at all. It is correct to always try and head for showdown as cheap as you can when your hand is marginal but may still be best. You cannot really bet for protection as you could already be well behind.

I do not see any value in betting the turn at all. [/ QUOTE ] I agree a bet on the turn would not be value. More of a to see where you stand bet. Actually I think a bet in the turn would only serve to build a pot. If he folds...great if he calls and bets the river easier fold, yet if he calls and checks river you have a show down. I like the check the turn call river line the fact that you called and then checked the turn makes you look rather weak and I could easily see this bet as a bluff |
