Wynn > Bellagio overall.

Emily > all of the Wynn's waitresses combined.

The inevitable Emily hijack in any Wynn thread always brings a smile to my face.

$100 to anyone who can get me verified proof that Emily is not engaged or married as is commonly believed.

Is there a single Wynn regular/semi-regular that doesn't know her by name? Something about those 5'9" goth girls with perfect trimings.

Did someone mention something about poker?

Hum, why is it everytime I play live in AC and the Vegas cardroom discussions come up everyone says limit poker is basically dead out there. These comments are from vacationing east coast players to those that lived there previously and even those that moved out there to turn pro and returned. They all have the same comment. 10/20/40 doesn't exist. A supposed 15/30 that is ultra-tough and the inconsistant high stakes at various places.

1) the 10/20 is weak-tight. Its soft and easily exploitable. Only available at the Mirage, but we might as well lump in 8/16 at the Wynn and Bellagio because its practically the same stakes/game but a little looser. On average there are 6-8 games running within this stake range around LV every night.

2) the 15/30 is weak-tight. Its soft and easily exploitable. On average between 2 and 5 tables of this stake running every night between Wynn and Bellagio

the magic word is weak tight. The opponents here tend to put you in tougher scenarios because the pots aren't as big on average as you will find in CA or NJ - thats really the only difference. My biggest adjustment was that on the east coast if a player has top pair he bets into the field, in Vegas sometimes that means he will check to the river afraid his kicker is too small.

In july, I played 10/20 at MGM. Good game, but i'm not sure how often it runs. Go w/ Joker's advice though, and if u run well, give 15/30 a shot. It's been pretty good in my limited experience.
