Showboat/HOB 11AM & 2PM Tournaments ?

Has anybody here played in either of these ? Looks like the amount of starting chips/structure seems to be OK.
What's the average # of players for these tournies ?
How early should you show up to register ?

There were about 80-90 people signing up when I was there. I signed up for the 11 AM one literally a minute before it started, but the 2 PM one had a huge list of alternates at 1:45 PM.

Keep in mind that there won't be any regular tourneys at Showboat this Saturday, in case you were planning to go that day.

The last one I had at HOB was a Sunday at 7. Cheap and very soft, about 100 players or a little less.

Do you know this for sure? I tried to google this and couldn't find anything. I assumed as much with the WSOP Wall Street thingy, but I hadn't heard it confirmed.

If I get out of work on time this morning I'll be at the 2pm Showboat tourney today.

HOB is spreading the Wall Street World Series of Poker. One of the floor guys said last night some of the proceeds of the tournament goes to victims of 9-11, dont know how true a statement it is.
