Default 10/180 -88 in the SB. Critique my play please

Villain wasn't a huge blind stealer and I hadn't seen anything particularly fishy in his play, except for one instance when he called big bets to the river with a medium pocket pair against what looked like an ace (and was).

Should I be reraising or pushing preflop here or even folding?

Anyone watching me would have noticed that I was stealing a lot and had built my stack up without showing a hand for quite some time.
Does the added presence of the straight draw make my play on the turn correct or should I check and see what happens?

Take my comment with a grain of salt; 2p2 and Sklansky's books are the only things keeping me from donking off my BR every session. (I've cut that down to every other session ). If I put myself in MP1's shoes, only taking into account that you've been stealing frequently, I think you're range to call preflop is 66-99, AJo and AQo, and suited connectors 78 to T9. The flop bet smells like draw/air (I'd go broke here pushing - I'm sure incorrectly - with top pair). I don't know what to think of your turn push - on one hand, you've got half your chips in and I think "last ditch effort to push me out." On the other hand, 99 is within the range I'd see you calling preflop with, and I also think you'd think I've got you on a weaker hand than a set. I'd call, expecting you to have me beat with 99 or 77, or drawing to 8 outs with 89s.

Since this is not a draw heavy board, his flop call tells me that he has you beat. Pushing here might get him to make a mistake, but probably not. I would put him on a 10 with a strong kicker, and he'll probably call the push.

At the same time, this is a great card for you to push, because every hand you beat folds and if you are beat you are drawing very live, to 10 outs. That and he may very well fold a 10 if he doesn't have K10 or A10.

Personally I'd probably rather either fold or push pre-flop (depending on read, mainly if I think I have enough fold equity) instead of trying to play a middle PP in a big pot out of position

What are my options on the turn do you think? If I check and he puts me should I call or give it up. If I fold I'll have a pretty small stack and could easily have folded the winner.

I'm not saying necessarily I was right to push the turn but I don't know if the alternative is much better.

out of the 4 best options you did the worst, 1 and 2 are shoving PF and other one is 3600 and shove any flop. Next in line is to flat call PF and check shove any flop, if he is a habitual c-better. and what you choose flat call PF and lead the flop. Which is ok but your bet amount sucks. You bet too much on the flop it makes it redic obv you are commited. There aren't many draws on that board either he has you beat or he doesn't. Against some players it's bet/fold others who raised a lot of leads its a bet/call. That is player dependant. And I don't sugest doing that without a read.

Pushing preflop is probably one of the best plays, considering there's around 2k in the pot and you can easily pick this up without a showdown. In a 10/180 you can definitely get called by a hand you crush and overall against his calling range your equity is quite good.

Your flop line turns your hand into a bluff, and that's bad. When he smoothcalls the flop, what do you think you're beating? Against a typical player, nothing except maybe A7. Check/pushing is probably better in this spot although risky because of the bb. Neither of them are folding better hands.
