My guess is some of both, with the balance toward grandstanding. Still, some worthwhile comments anyway.

Well I don't think that's really enough proof. I personally like what he said even if it is mostly grandstanding.

I love it! This guy is all over TV, while the only guy who was right the whole time (Dennis Kuchinich) gets no MTP time.

Of course once the facts change, it helps to change your opinion too.

I never fault any politico for changing positions when situations change.
