KQ flops straight against LAG, river I am lost
Villain is 25/22/4.25 over 130
I've been cont betting lots and i rarely second barreled. What's the better line on the river, should I have checked called or bet folded, or bet called a raise? What's the range of his hands here? Re: KQ flops straight against LAG, river I am lost
river looks like a call.
1) if he has a boat on the river, that means he had two pair or a set by the turn. TT, and JJ both reraise preflop. this guy reraises preflop with AT and AJ, and if he didn't this time, he would've (or at least should've) raised the flop with them. 333 makes sense (preflop), but if he called the flop bet with an underpair and hit a two-outer, meh. 2) your river bet looks very weak and he's aggressive. in a sense, you induced a bluff. 3) you have a straight in a blinds battle against a very aggressive player. |

Re: KQ flops straight against LAG, river I am lost
FWIW, I'd say it's call, but not a huge +EV call as played.
If you think the guy is so aggressive that he's pushing a bluff over the top of your blocking-ish bet, then I think the optimal river line is cr-ai. If you think he's so aggressive that he's value betting trips on the river, then the optimal line is probably c/r ai as well. I'd go with cr-ai. I think that play throws him the most rope to hang himself with a bluff. |

[ QUOTE ] if hes a LAG he's raising 2pr most of the time I wouldnt be worried about a boat, call this. [/ QUOTE ] two pair hands like KJ???? [/ QUOTE ] He meant he's usually raising two pair on the flop / turn, so he's unlikely to have boated up on the river. |
