Re: pokermanager review
Why did the author get banned ?? I would think that many 2+2ers would love to find software that was this fast and so good. I am confused?

Re: pokermanager review
if there's no HUD, there's no point in getting this then.

if there's no HUD, there's no point in getting this then. [/ QUOTE ] There is a HUD that works on Party, but it's just not as polished as PAHUD (similar to GT+). I think Ben decided to give up on PM as he didn't get much interest in it and you can't blame him for that... As far as making a HUD goes, then I have source for querying the Firebird DB from C/C++, a threaded HUD class that just uses GDI code to work using LayeredWindow's, and Ben posted all of the queries that would be needed on his forum. I've just never had time to put them all together, and haven't played limit ring games for over 6 months now. I still think that PM was by far the best designed poker DB software made yet. It just needed a decent user base to get interested and I'm sure it would have eventually blown away PT and PO, especially for dealing with large amount of mined data. Re: pokermanager review
I have just downloaded the trial, and it looks pretty promising. I couldn't program myself out of a cardbox, so this may be a stupid idea, but wouldn't it be much easier to make it compatible with PAHUD, and then focus on getting support for a lot of pokerrooms?
Then you could make PMHUD or whatever later.. |
