Default Poll: Has your winrate gone up/down/stayed the same since October ban?

[Apologies for the few who voted to my prev post, but I realized that separating this poll into 2 parts would be more informative]

Following up on the other thread, thought a poll might be moderately informative, although 3 months of data won't be terribly persuasive.

Has your winrate gone up / down/ or stayed the same since the UIGEA and a bunch of sites gave the boot to Americans back in October?

Mine has decreased but mostly because I ran bad and tilted a bunch in December...my first losing month since May.

I am American but I can play still play at any site I choose (I live in Switzerland) so I voted with the non-Americans. I am a casual player who single tables. Before the ban I struggled to stay above 2BB/100 at $0.50/1.00 at both Full Ring and Short Handed Holdem. Since the ban I have moved up to a current level of $2/4 and I am contemplating going to $3/6.

I have actually played at sites that allow Americans and those that do not since the ban so I decided to look at the results on that basis in PT. Here are the results:

Stars FR -1.05BB/100 701 Hands
Stars SH +0.14BB/100 3,475 Hands
Doyles SH -1.18BB/100 5,477 Hands
-------------- -----------
Average -0.70BB/100 9,653 Hands

Paradise FR +5.21BB/100 3,487 Hands
Paradise SH +4.53BB/100 1,198 Hands
InterPoker SH +4.03BB/100 3,563 Hands
OnGame SH +4.11BB/100 7,675 Hands
Party FR +1.78BB/100 2,712 Hands
Party SH -6.98BB/100 174 Hands
-------------- ------------
Average +3.89BB/100 18,809 Hands

So not only do I seem to be running better I seem to be running better at the sites that ban Americans than at those that allow them to play. I know the sample sizes are too small but this is never-the-less interesting...........

I have also noticed that players on the sites that ban Americas not only can have plenty of "fish" at the tables but also that the 20/17/3 types also do not seem (to me anyways) to have grasped the finer points of especially short-handed play. Especially hand reading. I put it down to lack of experience or something. So not only do I run over the loose passives I seem to do well against the TAGs.

Decreased slightly but what I REALLY miss is casino whoring blackjack. That was easily $500 per month that I cleared when I was too tired to play poker.

I miss BOSS Network. The land of 50% $5/10 limit games is gone!

US player here. My winrate has definitely gone down...for ring games I play mostly 5/10 NLHE, and some 5/10 PLO, almost all on 'Stars.

Furthermore, the HORSE/HOSE games that 'Stars rolled out shortly before the UIGEA were great, and now barely go at all.

The tournaments are still about as soft as ever. I really prefer ring games, but for now have shifted more towards tournaments since that seems to be the only place where edge really exists.

But I fear what will happen when the rebuy monkeys run out of money, and can't bring more in easily...
