In the PokerTracker forum, Pat said he should have a PT patch up to handle the import problem in less than 30 minutes.

quick trip report. sent 500$ to FTP via moneygram. the location was a rite aid and i had to speak on the phone (they had a special "moneygram phone") to set up the transfer and then the lady on the phone (very quick and courteous) gave me a reference number which i then gave to the clerk at rite aid and she finished the transaction. i deposited 500 and the fee was $9.95. once i entered the transfer info into FTP, it took about 30 mins to be credited to my account. very easy option to use if you dont mind going out of yr house.

In other news, PT Pat should write his own customer service book.

fwiw, i believe my transfer was to some random joe in nicaragua.

[/ QUOTE ] That is *very* ungood.

why? WU to stars goes to joe sanchez in Costa Rica. ITs a standard workaround that WU has been using for a century.

No kidding!

This is incredibly ironic...

Only one hour ago, I was sticking up for him in This Thread from the software forum.

I can't believe people actually bash the guy.

Actually, it's good because there's no way the gub'ment can tell it apart from the millions of other money transfers that illegal aliens send to their families in Latin America every day. If you send it to "Full Tilt Poker" then MoneyGram has no plausible deniability. I expect FullTilt will have a stable full of employees who can pick up the deposits. Hard to see how the feds will stop this. And I can live with a 10 dollar charge on a $500 deposit, when you consider the driving costs, higher rake and tipping dealers involved in my only other option- casino gambling.

Wouldn't that be ironic?
