Partying at a random school

So my buddies and I have a limited budget (ok, close to no money) but we've decided to road trip from Chicago to Miami for the Superbowl. We don't really wanna pay for a hotel, and we don't have any place to stay in Miami. So we've come up with a great idea... Drive to Gainesville and party it up at University of Florida on Saturday night, then cruise into Miami Sunday morning. To quote Road Trip, "We're lookin for a place to party, maybe even crash."

Anyone have any tips on how to find a sweet party in an unfamiliar place where you don't know anyone? Hopefully we meet chicks who wanna hook up or some cool dudes with a house where we can crash. Me and one friend are 21, the other is 20. None of us have ever attended a major university before. Thanks for the help.

If I was advising someone coming to my major university (The U of MN), I would suggest;

- Drive around at ~ 10PM
- Look where the most people are walking around (we have a couple intersections that are somewhat dense with people on a Fri/Sat night during nice weather)
- Follow a group of people
- Enter party, pay for cup

I don't know if the bar scene is better at UF than the house parties, someone else would have to tell you that. Obviously, my advice is more for finding a house party.

Also, the older the group of people looks, the more likely it is that they're going to a bar... so follow youngins if you want a house party.
